Another Chael Sonnen Interview...

Chael Sonnen is definitely back - I mean he went quiet in the run to his court hearing and justly so - he faced some serious charges but it really is great to have the biggest mount in MMA back on the scene. In this interview with UFC-Connected, the former UFC middleweight contender discusses Fedor's bizarre 2-3 MMA record - proclaims Dan Henderson as World Champion and explains why he offered to fight Rashad. One things for sure - there is no stiffling his mouth-game.

Woah - This fight is NUTS!!! Bellator delivers again...

Bellator are nearing their 50th show and have proved to be the mental little cousin of the international fight scene by consistently producing highlight reel moments that leave us all gobsmacked - I will never Toby Imada's upside-down-inside-out-inverted-triangle on FightIreland favourite Jorge Masvidal and thinking that's the nuttiest sub I have ever seen. Bellator has also been the home of Hector Lombard, Eddie Alverez, Ben Askren, Pat Curran, Marlon Sandro and the man with the flying knees Patricky Freiere.

So without further ado here is the latest in Bellator's zany highlight reel - as Neil Grove took on Zak Jensen they engaged in some sort new form of combat which involves mutual leg locks and punching endurance tests - that will leave you gobsmacked!

Cage Contender X - Reviewed

Cage Contenders X went down last night in front of a jam-packed crowd in Tallaght's National Basketball Arena, fans were treated to eleven action packed fights and as usual the production from Cage Contender set the bar for Irish MMA. In the main event Owen Roddy faced off against the unpredictable Benjamin "Son of Life" Davis for the featherweight belt. Although Davis did connect at least once and landed some good knees it was "Rowdy" Roddy who dominated the opening round and once he secured mount - many feared it was all over for the Galway-man. With a little over two seconds to go in the first round Roddy sunk in a tight guillotine from mount to bring the belt back to SBG and set the crowd off into hysterics.

Fields vs. Redmond
In the co-main event - fans were finally treated to the grudge match between John "The Wrecking Machine" Redmond in his attempt to dethrone middleweight champion Chris "The Killing" Fields. Redmond looked comfortable in the opening minutes - he kept a low stance and was wary of the Field's shot. In what was the biggest fight of his career, he managed to stay loose and attempted a left roundhouse early on. However Fields showed why surely he will champion for a long time by staying patient and catching a Redmond low-kick and driving through his man to secure a takedown. There was a referee stand-up and the fight was stopped following a low-blow from Redmond but Fields again finished the round in a dominant position following another take down. The second round began as the first but when Fields got Redmond down again and pushed the RFA fighter to the cage - Redmond was in deep water. Fields sunk in a perfect d'arce choke to win by first round submission - *queue an SBG carnival in the cage.

The main card provided some excellent bouts - Richie "Souza" Gorey wasted little time in dispatching Tuatha de Dannan fighter Kieran Davern by landing a huge right hook to end the bout scarcely after 10 seconds. It was shame for fans as many were expecting this to be a war but it marks another flash knockout for Souza. Philip  Mulpeter dominated Team Torres stand out Sebastian "Tiao" Torres on the feet for two rounds before ending the fight via vicious knees to the body forcing the referee to step in mid-way through the second round. Mulpeter stuck to his game plan and kept the grappler Torres at distance throughout the fight with a series of excellent jabs and knees while stuffing various takedown attempts in the first round. Mulpeter showed great precision with his knees catching Torres on a couple of occasions coming in and it looked like being a long night for the game grappler but the referee was right to stop the fight in the second as Mulpeter was unleashing some powerful ground and pound on his stricken opponent.
Reilly lands early on.
In the battle of the big-men Dave Reilly was submitted by Michael Kukowski via third round rear-naked-choke. In what was an entertaining fight Reilly's hands looked fluid when the fight was on the feet and he had the Cork City Combat Sambo man in trouble early on following a series of straight punches but Kukowski showed his class on the ground and secured full mount before taking Reilly's back. Reilly fought off a rear naked choke for the best part of three minutes to reach the second round. The second round was another tight grappling affair with Reilly securing side control at one point and attempting to obtain a crucifix position but Kukowski was again dangerous and mounted his opponent leaving both men exhausted by the end of the round. Reilly was clearly given instructions by John Kavanagh and Aish Daly at the break and opened the third round with a shot straight from the bat  - Kukowski sprawled excellently and again secured back mount to finish by rear naked choke after 1.16 of the third round.

Kukowski RNC

Peter Quelly put on a show against Kokoro MMA fighter Rob Byrne finishing the fight by first round  TKO. The Waterford man landed some powerful leg kicks from the off and following some massive knees  dropped Byrne and finished him via ground and pound setting the crowd wild.
"Hollywood" Peter Quelly
Prelims after the jump.

Cage Contender X - Results

What an amazing card, too much to talk about at this stage but it's arguably the best card we have ever been to. All but one fight ended within the distance and the fight that did go to decision was a highly entertaining split decision battle. We will be posting a full breakdown later but for now you should know that both Fields and Roddy retained their belts both winning by submission but Irish MMA was the real winner on the night with an excellent night had by all.

WTF Picture of the Day! Ronaldo vs. Cain Velasquez

A while ago we posted a picture of champion tango-footballer Cristiano Ronaldo being choked out by Royce Gracie - we lost a lot of sleep over that one. I mean the last thing MMA needs is another douche-bag, who would definitely fail a steroid test - let alone the amount of grease on that guy could keep a KFC running for a year. So you can imagine the shock we had when we found these this morning.

Who cares why he was with Cain - this is all bad. All bad. More after the jump - Read on :-)

Cage Contenders X Weigh-in Videos and Pics

What a turn out for Irish MMA! In front of a massive crowd in The Square, Tallaght - all fighters made weight for tomorrow's Cage Contender X event. FightIreland cannot wait for tomorrow to see the real action take place in the cage. In the co-main event current champion Chris "The Killing" Fields will face off against the heavy-handed challenger John Redmond and there was no love lost between the two - as Redmond ignored Fields's patented "Crane" stance and got right up in the Champ's face - Fields did not move an inch - in a clear sign that we should expect fireworks tomorrow. In the other expected barn-burner Owen Roddy and Benjamin "Son of Life" Davis will square off for the Featherweight title - in what will be a showcase for the quality Irish MMA's lighter weight classes. Tickets are still available here.

FightIreland Exclusive: John Redmond Ahead of The Biggest Fight of his Life

Redmond - hoping to get his hands raised on Saturday night.
In another FightIreland Exclusive we sat down with the man who hopes to be the new Cage Contender Middleweight champion come Saturday night. Well known on the Irish MMA scene, The Rush Fight Academy stand out will face Cage Contender Champion Chris "The Killing" Fields on Saturday night in front of what will surely be a packed NBA Arena Tallaght, Dublin. John speaks to us about the upcoming fight, his team at RFA and training with MMA legend Minitoro Nogueira. Enjoy!

So first up how is John Redmond?

Well I'm feeling great at the minute, I can't wait for the fight!

A couple of days to the fight, what's going through your mind at the moment - do you just want to get in the cage?

I really am buzzing at the moment, I have had a great camp, very tough but now I am feeling great.

Have you been working on any particular part of you game?

Basically I have been fine tuning my all round MMA game - I'll be ready :-)

What are your thoughts on your opponent Chris Fields, he is the current Champion, how much has that motivated you?

I don't know Chris Fields as a person very well, but as a professional MMA fighter and a fan of the sport I think his fighting style is boring, but it can't be over looked as not effective. Sure of course, the challenge of facing the current champion at middle weight is major motivation.

How do you see the fight going down?

Me beating Chris and getting my hand raised.

Is there any extra pressure as this is the biggest fight you have had?

Yes you are right, it is the biggest fight I've ever had and that adds a lot of pressure but that's what drives me to train so hard and succeed, that's what will drive me on Saturday.

So, You get the final word on the SBG T-shirt video - where you surprised with all the hype?

Ah it was just laugh, I didn't think they would take it so badly there was no malice in intended. They should take it as a compliment, (SBG) being one of the most successful clubs in Ireland.

How are things over at Rush Fight Academy?

Things have never been better at RFA, the club is buzzing, everyone from juniors to ladies to fighters are improving in leaps and bound every week. Even our 6 to 10 year olds - our newest recruits my son included, are picking up the basic MMA game. More and more people are getting interested in MMA from the local community and surrounding area. The sport is growing at such a fast pace in Ireland, it really is amazing. There is a great atmosphere at RFA, that transfers from our Head Coach Paul Cowzer right down to all the students.

A great summary of Irish MMA and the sport we love there John - thanks! You recently did a seminar with the great Nog - did he give you any tips?

It is a great league to be a part of. We have some really great fighters in Ireland and the fans are extremely supportive! It's awesome time right now for MMA and I am glad to be a part of it as a fighter and a fan. As for Nogueira - it was an honour and privilege to meet, talk and roll with the great man. Sure, yeah he thought me a few things but I'll keep them a secret!!!!

A fantastic experience - we will wait and see what you can pull out of the bag on Saturday night. So apart from Nogueira what other fighters do you admire and why?

Junior Dos Santos, Melvin Guillard, Alister Overeem and Anderson Silva for their finishing styles.

A solid list there John! Anybody you would like to thank?

I would like to say thanks to all the lads at RFA, and my BJJ revolution bros at Team Ryano for also pushing me very hard. My strength and conditioning coaches at Pro-fitness, Elite nutrition, Ultimate MMA Supplies and Bing Bongs - check them out.

UFC 133 - Jose Aldo vs. Kenny Florian - This will get you Pumped!!!

The UFC has pulled no punches for it's return to Texas and it's fair to say  the UFC 136 card is stacked. We will get to see not one but two titles on the line plus arguably the best fight they can make at middleweight. We also always enjoy any card with Showtime Pettis, Guillard and Maia but it is the main card where the big announcements are. Finally fans will get to see the rubber match between Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard, if their last fight was anything to go by - this could be fight of the year stuff. Elsewhere one of the sport's pound for pound best, Jose Aldo takes on former lightweight contender Kenny Florian in the co-main event. Aldo will be looking to add Florian to his list of scalps that include Hominick, Gamburyan, Faber and Mike Thomas Brown - the trailer below will get you seriously hyped for this one.

The middleweight contender match between Sonnen and Stann also has the makings of a tremendous fight, both fighters are nearing the top of their game and it will be interesting to see if Sonnen can contend with Stann's power and seemingly unstoppable cardio. A bit early for predictions but we are taking Stann, Aldo and Maia!

Paul Daley has a reality Tv show coming and it looks all right!

"I can punch any salad, any where any time!!!"
So Paul Daley returns to the cage again under the Zuffa banner to face unbeaten prospect Tyrone Woodley on the Strikeforce Fedor vs. Henderson undercard in two weeks time. Daley who is coming off a tough loss to number one contender Nick Diaz is attempting to make his way back into the big league since being banished by the Big-Bald-Boss way back in May 2010. In a bid to build his brand and engage with the fans and UFC brass again he is taking part in a reality series with Woah TV to be called The Daley Operation. The trailer has just been announced and it looks pretty sweet, lets hope Daley brings some of his sparring exploits into cage the next time we see him. He might be a bit of a numpty at times but he is always exciting to watch and brought a hell of fight to Diaz a few months ago.

Dream: Fight for Japan Betting Guide!

So in a little over eight hours time, Dream "Fight for Japan" will take place and it promises to be a stellar event! Some of Japanese MMA elite will be putting on a show for the striken country's last surviving fight fans. Full props to Paddy Power who have priced up the entire card, we had a look and found a cheeky way of making €25 turn into €590 without leaving bed!

So bet €25 on a Miyata, Mizuno and Fickett treble and walk away a happy punter.
  • Miyata is on a tear and his top game is on the best in MMA, throw in his improved hands and flawless cardio and it's a sure win.
  • Fickett has a tough one against fightireland favourite Kawijiri - and although "The Bonecrusher" is a beast we think Fickett's experience and heavy hands may see him pull of an unpopular win.
  • Mizuno against Prangley, nine times out of ten Prangley wins this but tomorrow it;s mizuno by kimura. Boom!

Love Japan and watch Dream this Saturday Morning

So by now we have all come accostumed to staying up until five AM to watch UFC main events and up until about two years that was something you did about once a month -which was cool. But of course these days Zuffa hosts an event almost every weekend so they are partly responsible for my increasing Zombie-like visage. The other contributing factors to my Dawn-of-the-Dead look are a hearty mix NO-Xplode and Monster topped off with a caffeine addiction and anything starring Megan Fox.

Good News for any fellow sufferers - top grade MMA is on live from the comfort of your man-cave this Saturday morning as the Dream Grand Prix Finals take place from The Ariake Collusuem Tokyo at about 10.30am Irish time. The card is stacked and features some of FightIreland's favourite fighters; "The Bone-Crusher" Kawajiri, Sakurai, and Mizuno not to mention there are three belts are on the line.

Masakazu Imanari takes on Hideo Tokoro in the Dream Bantamweight Tourney Final. Mousasi faces Izumi in the Light Heavyweight Championship and in what will be an absolute barn burner - Takaya takes on Miyata for the Featherweight Championship. We wrote previously why we NEED to love Japanese MMA - so get out of bed and get this on. It won't disappoint - Dream Never Die!

FightIreland Exclusive: Heads Up with Chris "The Killing" Fields

In another FightIreland exclusive scoop we sat down with one of the most talented mixed martial artists in the country, Cage Contender's Middleweight Champion Chris Fields. The man they call "The Killing" will be putting his belt on the line against feared striker RFA fighter John Redmond. This is easily one of the most anticipated fights in Irish combat sports history and we are guaranteed fireworks when these two face off against each other at next weekend's Cage Contender X. We were delighted to sit down with Chris and get his thoughts on the fight, his opponent and how his team SBG reacted to the infamous youtube video that has sent the hype through the roof! Enjoy....

So first up how is Chris Fields?

I'm feeling great at the moment.

How has your training camp been?

The training camp has been going really well and I feel like everything is coming together at just the right time.

Your thoughts on your opponent John Redmond - how do you see the fight playing out?

John Redmond is just another obstacle on the road to where I want to get to. I see the fight playing out the way my fights always play out with me getting my hand raised at the end.

You are defending your belt - is there any extra pressure?

There's no extra pressure. I'm the champ the pressure is on him

Have you been focusing on any particular area of your game for this fight?

As with all my fight camps I focus on all areas of my game. I want to be a complete fighter not a one trick pony.

There is a lot of hype about this fight - a lot of it stemming from the infamous video of John punching a punch bag with an SBG t-shirt on it? Has this had any effect you?

The video has had no effect on me at all. If anything it has improved my focus. If that's what he needs to get motivated then that's his business.

You have been on a tear recently, with wins by KOs, GnP and armbar - So what is your favourite way to win?

My favourite way to win is within the three rounds. I don't like going to a decision. So once I'm finishing the fight I'm happy.

You come from a great camp - how are things down at SBG?

Things are flying in SBG at the moment. It's like swimming with a bunch of shark’s every day, if sharks could punch you in the face. John Kavanagh is in my opinion the best Coach in the business and I count myself lucky to be part of that team.

On the local scene which coaches and fighters do you admire?

On the local scene I'd have to say outside of SBG Owen Roddy is a great coach and he has some good up and comers at Primal MMA. Fighters outside of SBG I would say I respect Damo Rooney, Tom Maguire, Ryan Kelly but Rob the Dog Quinn is still my hero. Always in a war.

This will be your fourth fight with Cage Contenders - you also fought with Cage Warriors - how do you think the Irish MMA scene is coming along?

Irish MMA is really heating up at the moment and the shows are just getting bigger and better. I see a lot of young talent around. Things look good for the future

Are there any fighters on your radar that you would like to step inside the cage with?

I'm interested in fighting any of the guys ranked above me in the UK at the moment or any high level European opponents. I want to keep testing myself with every fight.

As for the International scene which fighters do you admire and why?

On the international scene I would have to say GSP for his work ethic, Anderson Silva for sheer class and John Fitch and Carlos Condit because I always enjoy their fights.

Chris "I want to thank John Kavanagh and all the lads (and ladies) at SBG and Eoin Lacey and all the lads at Irish Strength Institute and my sponsors Fayz sports equipment, Nutrition X, GWD Estate Agents Swords for their continued support. PS. It's my belt and no one is taking it."

FightIreland - Fighter You Need to now - Matt Horwich

You may not have heard of Matt Horwich before and that is something you need to change, in this candid video from Inside MMA, Horwich who has 20 career submissions talks about his turbulent past and the world that helped to form one of the most unique fighters in the sport. In the above video, the 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu black belt opens up about his self-enforced homelessness, his ill-fated music career and how he found his wife on Craigslist. His admission that it is: "okay to be a little crazy like" is sheer genius.

Later on in the show Denis Hallman reveals that whilst rolling, Horwich never stays quiet, he is constantly talking to himself "pass guard, left head, sweep leg now..." in a bizarre self commentary. What a guy! Next up for Horwich is a re-match with UFC vet Jake Rosholt at Shark Fights 17 this Friday. No prizes for guessing who we will be cheering on.

....C'mon Crazy!!!!

FightIreland Exclusive: Interview with Irish Pro Boxer Alan Donnellan!

FightIreland are delighted to bring you this interview with professional boxer and mma enthusiast Alan Donnellan. He is a great prospect with an unbeaten record and we will be following his preparation closely as he gears up for his next fight in September. Over the coming weeks, Alan will be giving us updates from his training camp which we will be posting on the site! But first of all we get to know the man himself in this interview!

So first up Alan, for the people that don’t know of you already, can you tell us a bit about yourself?
I'm a 23 year old from Galway Ireland. I'm currently an undefeated 3-0 boxing out of Limerick. I graduated from Limerick Institute of Technology after four years. During that time I was given the opporunity to box internationally representing both my college and country. I have a huge interest in all martial arts and religiously follow all MMA events.

How did you get into boxing?
At an early age I experimented with a number of sports, but boxing is the sport that really captured my imagination.

There have been boxers in my family for generations but I was never aware of that until much later.

My parents decided not to tell me so as there was never any burden of expectation on me.

What gym are you training at?
I box out of St. Francis Boxing Club in Limerick under the tutelage of Ken Moore.

At what point did you know that boxing was a career that you would pursue?
Boxing professionally was always my ambition. Although the amateur format is just as prestigious and our country have really excelled in the past number of years, I used the amateur ranks as a platform to prepare for professional boxing.

What do you like most about boxing?
I would like to give some deep philosophical answer, but the truth is winning is my favorite thing about boxing.

Has your family had much of an influence on you as a boxer?
I can't say that my family have had much influence on me as a boxer. They support me; but never interfere with my training or preparation. They have however shaped me as a person and I believe my work ethic and passion for the sport are apparent each time I box. My family take the credit for nourishing that part of my life.

What are your long term goals in boxing?
I've been asked this question a number of times and I find it difficult to answer. I don't want to take fights for granted and end up eating my words. However, I do believe that I have real potential and a lot of time on my side. I have high expectations.

What other interests and hobbies do you have?
Outside of boxing I'm kept busy. I train everyday whether I have a fight coming up or not. BJJ is one passion of mine. I love watching rugby; I'm conflicted between supporting Connacht and Munster at the moment! I read a lot and love spending downtime with my family.

What are your thoughts on your upcoming fight it and who will you be fighting?
We haven't confirmed my opponent yet; but my approach will be the same. I'm eight weeks away from my fight now and I will outwork whoever I'm scheduled to fight in that timeframe.

How is your preparation for this fight going?
Generically I start "fight camp" eight weeks before I'm scheduled to box. However, in this case having had a fight fall through I had trained for eight weeks, taken a two week break and now I'm ready to train hard again. I'm already in good condition.

What does a typical day for you involve in the lead up to a fight?
I try not to have "typical" days as my body easily adjusts to routine. I alternate days- sparring days, conditioning days and technique days. This keeps my body guessing and pushes my thresholds constantly.

What sort of diet and training programs do you follow?
A very close friend Pat Divilly and I devised my nutritional plan. In vague terms I guess its a mixture of the paleolithic and anabolic diets. For training Ken Moore handles my boxing and I have a great Strength and Conditioning team on board too.

What are the highlights of your career so far in both amateur and professional boxing?
Well the first thing I did when I turned professional was throw out all of my amateur medals and trophies. That's the past now and the best reward from my amateur career was the ring experience I amassed. As a professional I've consistently been disappointed with myself- I am aware I'm my own worst critic- but although I'm undefeated I have an awful lot yet to show people.

In the Irish scene - who do you rate - your favorite fighters and why?
I'm in a very fortunate position here having sparred all over the country and sampled some of the finest training camps we have to offer. I'm unashamedly biased but my favourite at the moment has to be my regular training partner Gary "Spike" O'Sullivan. Carl Frampton is awe inspiring and I admire him a lot. The McDonagh brothers are sublime technically and two very nice guys. The Hylands are just an awesome outfit. My fellow product of St. Francis Boxing Club; Andy Lee is just at another level.

What fighter would you most like to go up against?
Thats a loaded question and I'm not sure I can answer right now! There's an undefeated English fighter on the radar and I think we would produce a terrifc fight.

Who has been your toughest opponent to date?
Ryan Clark was a very tough young man.

We know you are a big mma fan, any fighters that inspire you?
I've been an mma fan for years. St.Pierre is undoubtedly my favourite fighter because of his attitude and approach to the sport. Aldo is a terrific fighter also; although I detested his fight with Hominick. Frankie Edgar and Evan Dunham are more current favourites.

Would you ever think about getting in the cage?
I've been in a cage several times training. I have more of a passion for BJJ than MMA, but I'm sure it will happen at some stage.

And finally, if people want to contact you how can they reach you?
I think facebook is probably the best way to get to me. I have my own regular page and people have thought enough of me to open a fan page; any and all support is greatly appreciated guys.

I'd like to thank Darragh and the guys for featuring me. I can't believe the way that people have gotten behind me and I barely feel deserving of all your support. However, I will work to earn it and I'll give you all a reason to celebrate September 3.

Josh Barnett fought Bobby Lashley at the weekend!!!

Must...salvage...careeeeeer!!!!

Yep, we didn't know and unless your a fan of Japanese Wrestling promotion IGF we presume that you didn't know either but the fight did go down and we have the pictures to prove it. Barnett has been on a somewhat of a character building mission of late - first he is pictured being chums with ex-nemesis Dana White, next he dodged a potential banana skin with a dominant performance over soon to be jailbird Brett Rogers. Alas, it seems that "The Baby Faced Assassin" isn't afraid to have a bit of fun and dip his toes back into some ol' skool wrasslin' for a paycheck. Barnett won by armbar - no chairs were harmed during the making of the fight.

As for Lashley - he needs to go find himself soon.... More pictures after the jump - they are hilarious.

Woah UFC 100 was Two Years Ago! - Awesome Hendo Gif

USA! USA! USA!

So on this very day two years ago – UFC 100 took place in a sold out MGM Grand Garden Arena. It was a milestone event for the UFC and was seen by many as a showcase event for the sport. Two belts were on the line that night – GSP would put on a stand-up clinic against probably the most dangerous stand-up opponent he faced in his Welterweight scrap against Thiago Alves, while in the main event Brock Lesnar would batter Frank Mir. Lesnar would kinda turn ape-man after the fight, spitting at a camera, flipping off the crowd off and making the infamous “Coors-Light” statement.

Some other quirky events took place that night, Mark Coleman would have his hand raised for the last time in defeating Stephen Bonner, Akiyama and Belcher would put on an awesome fight to win FOTN and an almost unknown in the shape of Jon Jones would beat Jake O’Brien by second round guillotine. However the highlight of the event for many – was Dan Henderson’s beeeauuutiful KO of Michael Bisping. Henderson had to listen to “The Count’s” warbling for several weeks on TUF and remarked afterwards that he landed the last shot “just to shut him up a little bit.” We reckon Bisping still gets nightmares about that one.

Japanese MMA - Will Never Die - Epic MMA Posters!!!

The decline of Japanese MMA will surely be written as one of the saddest chapters in contemporary combat-sports history. The demise of the sport in the country where it stakes it's claim of origin is a sad paradox and one with no silver lining. Describing the heydays of Jap-MMA conjures up almost fairy-tale like discussions; Gladiators locked in fierce combat, native warriors defending their nation's Pride against the foreign Gaijin from every corner of the world. Brazilian marauders with tattooed skulls, North-American powerhouses with bear-like strength and soft-spoken mysterious Russians fought and thrilled massive crowds becoming demi-gods!

Now  - We have no more MMA superheros....

Sure Jon Jones and GSP are perfect for fifteen minutes on Jimmy Kimmell but somehow I preferred Josh Barnett rapping, Rampage abusing shop assistants and Alistair Overeem in girl-carrying contests. With that thought in mind we are one week away from perhaps the last chapter in Dream's amazing run. At the Dream Fight for Japan GP Final we will see the likes of Tokoro, Miyata, Takaya, Sakurai, Mizuno and "The Bone Crusher" Kawajiri remind us that Pride will never die. I'll watch this one and hope that it is not the last.

Lest we forget' below are some of the best Japanese MMA Posters - Sheer Epicness ;-)
